why is the chick coming overtop of the set and seemingly making excuses for the style they're playing at the beginning of the set?

Have patience woman, you can do a lot more with 5 hours than you can a 2 hour set, you don't wanna hammer out your bombs in front of an empty club.

who was there for this? The first 30mins would've been very frustrating with all the ambient stuff. But after that it gets kickin!

Deep Dish played all the way through from start to finish, so all the more ambient stuff would have been played to a largely empty club. I got in the around 45 minutes after it opened and even then there were only a few dozen people in there, so it's not really surpising that they played a lot of downtempto stuff to start off with.

ahh i see, i thought there was a warm-up DJ and then they came on, like their 5hr set in sydney.
