this topic is done to death
try out some chill out stuff, or tracks with beatless intro's eg (Overkill, Moonshine, Cristalle, Zoe, I.C.E 794 .....the first record is the most important......you could start with an ambient track, and fade it into a track with a beatless intro, to create some cool sounds......endless options

m83 - run into flowers (midnight remix) gets right to business but isn't to crazy..its all over the place
booka shade - mandarine girl its a fairly minimal track which builds up beautifully to a calm synth, nice start to a set
james holden has some nice tools available for intros / outros....
dextro - do you need help (holden's acoustic tool)

those are pretty flippin awesome...one to bring the set in, and one to close..and both use similar chords and what not to give a uniform feel...woo holden! |
