That's why - go meet her in a near shopping mall or anything. When I say "Rock on" I'm not telling you to bang her up and down like a 764, but try to meet her.
Is the park near your house? Next time she's around, get a bike and pretend that place was just in your way (you were going to run errands and stuff). You don't even need to set a "date" like that, it's just so you can break the "we've never met" limit.
No need to turn it into a major deal. The more relaxed you are, the higher your chances of succeeding.
(Not today though, you already know she's at the park with her friends: not only she probably wants to give her friends attention but it would sound like stalking). |

see, i cant invite her down the pub, well i guess i could and sneak her drinks...yeah that would work.
but still, im 20, i dont hang around at malls and sit at the park with friends. i go to parties, to clubs and pubs. :P |

Invite her to a party, then, or make an exception. Know what worked once? There was this girl I barely talked to but we would often spend hours and hours talking every now and then (read - once every 6 months). I took her out to dinner and she absolutely loved it. She was 3 years younger than I was, so I couldn't invite her to pubs - I just found a "solution" :)
Really, it's no big deal, you're looking for horns in a horse's head.
In case you want to know the results of that day - I was deluded with the thought that I was going to Japan in a few months and thought that all I wanted was to "get to know the people around me better" so I didn't even try, but I strongly believe I could hit it. Doesn't bother me though, as I met my girlfriend a couple of weeks later :D |
