Nice big place. This may work. Food is TGIF style.
Also Little Italy is close by (1/2 mile from venue) and can be a lot of fun too. The Filippis (family Italian food) on India Street
http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaura...California.html
is good, lively and would fit everybodys budget. No reservations although the line moves pretty fast. Plus on the corner Princess of Wales (British Pub) is close.
Another place which I like is the Irish pub next to Chive across from Ole Madrid south of Market. The name escapes me. |

| Filipis get packed early. The Princess pub is close to it in Little Italy and is a good pub. That Irish place on 4th is cool right across the street from Cafe sevilla. |

| I think the meet-up needs to stay in the Gas lamp disctict. Close to the venue and such... |

Hey you.... just in case you want to read up on some gaslamp restaurants.. here is a good site to look into... it features all of the gaslamp.. and gives information on all the places to eat down there including typical pricing etc.

Right on JT, it was def good to see you last weekend too. Despite some technical problems I still had a great time and those mai tai's kicked my ass!
I def agree that the gaslamp is the place to be as far as eating goes. It would be best to keep it as close to the venue as possible i would think.
I checked out most of hte restaurants on that site and we need to keep in mind the size of the party. I know from trying to make 20+ reservations that only a few places in the gaslamp can fully accomdate. |

I think downtown is probably the easiest place to do it since it is so close to where the venue is going to be.
If we ar anticipating between 20 and 30 people then there are a few cool places that can provide for large parties. Here is from what I can remember.
Bucca Di Beppo - family style italian
Ole Madrid - Spanish/american cuisinse
Mr. TIki Mai Tai lounge - polynesian/asian fusion kinda deal
TOo early right now to think of anything else :) |
Buca Di Beppo's is YUMMmmmmy :) And it gets pretty crazy in there on the weekends. I think it's like 4 or 5 blocks away from 4th and b. |

Has anyone thought about Downtown Johnny Browns? It is seriously like one block from 4th and B and they have pretty good food. Plus they probably won't be too busy so you all can take over the place. That way I can maybe take a break from setting up to sneak over and say hi to you all ... I know I'm being selfish, but it's a cool spot and Johnny Brown is a nice guy
