i highly doubt that these remixes were the sole reason for him to play the olympics, disney land etc. wouldnt you agree?

u might disagree..but he DOES have talent...talent to sell out concerts..some of his productions are mint..
of course there are other dj's that work the tables better...and what not..but

He played the Olympics because the promoters heard his version of Adagio For Strings. They wanted someone who could combine the epic and grand nature of classical music with contempory stuff. Old meets new, all that. Greece is the home of the Olympic Games. They might have used any big-name producer. Tiesto got there because he was high-profile, and his profile came from making big tracks.
Once he got to the top, all he had to do was keep pulling stunts. But like all DJs, he owes his ability to pull big gigs and keep his profile sky-high, to his productions. |

i couldn't give a about him, that's true enough. but i don't have any anger towards him. its just rather frustrating to see Other people making such a fuss over something like this...
its mostly just nonsensical bull anyhow. it starts when someone makes some crass comment towards some dj. someone who likes that dj comes along and defends the dj. everyone else jumps in...
