I went on vacation with some people I met online .... without having met them before. I did that twice ( once took a place with them to New York the other went and stayed at their place in Paris for a week or so ( I was like 15 back then my mother freaked! ) )
Otherwise I've met so many TA's to name.
A lot of DCTAs Boston Tas NYTAs Chi-townTAs Columbus Toronto etc etc
I've met also this chick that I randomly started talking to when I was like 18; she was 25 or so, had twin daughters, was somehow obsessed with muscling up at the gym and went out with a guy who could be her grandfather. Never quit figured that one that but we met so I could lend her my Windows 2000 cd. Nerd
Jeez too many stories.
Nothing to great really but once I met this girl in the north of France it was like 500 miles from me. My parents dropped me off and they were gonna be one hour away and I was supposed to take a train and be with them the day after. Well this girl and I had a shared interest in graffiti which is what we did most of the evening ..... till I got chased by a cop and ended up in a prison cell for the rest of the night being released at 2 pm or so the following days. My parents were freaked out cause I didn't show up at the train station that morning around 9 am or so.
I can't possibly list all the stories.
But I do have a story I doubt none of you will ever beat me!
So I'm on this shoe forum .... this guy started pming me cause he noticed I was in the same city. In less then 45 minutes had we spoken online for the first tme and then hung out. It was so quick but we hit it off real well. He's real cool and we're gonna hang out again soon.
Otherwise back in Cleveland there was this internet forum for the clubbing community. I met a lot of people IRL through that. Mainly all the people I would see at clubs and chat with whenever I was out.
Oddly enough ALL the people from that forum call me Jdat! Wtf?! All the other people call each other by their real names but I was like the exception to the rule.
I did also meet Kimmi through Busy Child through TA. That was something else! But I truly miss her :(
humm and last but not least I met these party promoters through TA that were from Cleveland. She was from Miami ( well Ohio originally but in FL for like 10 years or so ) and he was from New York/Connecticut ( great dj! Deviant on the Balance record pool ). They were the coolest people ever! I used to hang out with them just about every week. I miss them so much since my return in France :(
I was friends with them for a total of 2 years. It was amazing! I'm happy I was able to experience that. And they just recently got engaged :D I'm so happy for them.
Little side story; they also knew TatGirl from TA from meeting her IRL in detroit during the festival. |

I'm going to England next summer in part to go to an online friend's wedding. We've never met, yet he invites me to his wedding the second he hears I'll be in town :haha:
The real kicker is that he met his fiance through a mutual online friend that he met on the same forum :D Ain't the internet great? |

hmmm... i've met two people from online in real life...
one was a married woman in her 40s with three kids... perfect wifey... we first met in... pogo.com chess rooms. the thing spinned off really crazy. it was crazy stuff. i would call her and she would call me, and we would have phone sex, and she'd tell me how she was massaging her clit with her vibrator. and she'd tell me stories what kind of sex she had with her husband over the weekend. we'd talk about how our sex would be like... i said i needed to stop by her on my way to Russia for holidays (even tho she was in cali and i needed to fly to nyc:D), and she'd promise me the best blowjob and anal sex ever... it was shweeeet. how it ended? well, after a couple of things, i suddenly started to feel ashamed, because... i was thinking of how wrong i was doing my girlfriend.:wtf: (who was in Russia). upon returning from Russia, i cut the communication. I still wonder what that woman is doing now, it was nice promiscuous relationship with no strings attached... as for my girlfriend in Russia, we broke up two months after that. I still feel I've done her veeeeery wrong by engaging in sex with a married woman with three kids.
the second one (even though we haven't met in person) was another online relationship with a Russian girl while I was single. we met on a Russian trance board. quite a lively communication, we had. calling each other every other day and such... she was (hmmm, what's the word...:D) open-minded, and we already decided I would stay in MOscow for a couple of days after coming to RUssia, before going to my city, at her place, and we'd engage in crazy sex. multiple phone sex sessions and such. it was good. but upon coming to Russia, I was waiting for her in the Airport, and she... well, she called me a coupke of days later and said she got into the traffic jam. And really asked to come to visit me in my city. But by that time I've hooked up with an awesome girl... my ex-classmate, who I - along with all the other guys from my class - was dreaming about all those school years. she was out of a messy realtionship, and i was down for whatever, so kaboom... but that's a whole different story.
so all my online relationships bring nothing but fun memories to me... one important thing is to take it easy and not to take anything close to your heart. and you're on for an awesome ride... i'm telling you.
and no, i'm not bulling you or fantasizing here trying to earn kudos, i've gone through that stage many years ago. |

The only people I've met in real life from teh intarweb are TA's... most of whom have been great (Actually I can't think of any I truly dislike, that I've met in real life that is ;))...
But by far and away, meeting Myra through TA is no doubt the best thing the 'net has ever done for me...

Dude, that was far and away one of the better parts of Sunday...
Just having that phone call described to me was fun :haha:
Plus it's always good to get a vocal birthday wish from your local forum moderator, even if it is secand hand :p |

I've met peeps from TA that I knew online and i've meet peeps from TA that I never knew on TA before I met em. Thus far I'd say my percentage is high like 90% at least lol... still waiting to meet some TA's. buth its all good, all the ones i never intended to meet are better friends...its kinda weird...
