No, it was much more than that...

When I go into work tomorrow (don't ask :() I'll find the percentages from my Toronto_Leaf Fan email.

Off the top of my head it was like, 14% for the purple section and 48% (I think) for some other section...

i think you were thinking of something else

WOW

Ticketmaster was selling board seats (aka front row) for $450 when I went to go watch the Flames/Leafs. Goddam.

Oh, for sure....but my equivalent bar-tab at a leaf game would be astronomical...
let's see, 15 beers at $8.50 per, works out to $120. Plus $35 for the ticket, and I'm running over a bill and a half.

Granted, I have been out some nights and dropped more than $120 at the bar, but to watch a leaf game, it's just not gonna happen.

Plus, at the end of the second or at the very latest midway thru the third, I'd probably get kicked out for obnoxious behaviour.

Nope, I'd say I'll stick to the bars, Westend in Hamilton misses my business anyway.

It must be the end of time...cause I thought they'd nvever drop those prices.!! Watch them go ahead and win the CUP too... :eyespop:

..but yeah! I think we should have a TOTA Leaf night Jeff... great idea. I know i'm in!!:D

I'd rather watch the games drinking "cheaper" beers in front of my big screen with lots of friends rather than needing binoculars to see it from the nose bleeds....

I know I could say the same thing of listening to jazz on my surround sound system, but it's sooooo much better live!!
You can't 'can' the atmosphere... GO LEAFS GO!! WOOT WOOT!!

Don't forget the NHL draft is being televised @ noon tomorrow
:toocool:
You know...just in case the Penguins don't pick Crosby.....BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

....hey....it could happen.... :disbelief

x100

Try going to a game in Buffalo. I was at the one where we came back to win 6-5. That place went NUTS. There are more TO fans that drive down than there are Buffalo fans.

Mac Eng does that same trip every year. Always a good time. But watching the leafs in toronto is still never worth the ticket price.
