top 10 things i learned from this interview:
01. armin thinks trance is simple to make
02. armin, despite thinking trance is simple to make, considers himself now an artist/composer
03. armin made the album shivers so he could have his own peice of work
04. armin actually didn't make his own peice of work because he relied on the talents of others to make the album
05. armin writes most of the lyrics for his songs
06. armin is bad at writing lyrics for songs
07. armin plans on the album shivers to usher in a new direction for his sound
08. i most likely will continue to not like armin's work in the future
09. armin makes ASOT for the next generation of clubbers
10. armin's music is directed at children who are just learning about dance music |

i dont think it matters what kind of interview he does, its still going to get bashed anyway.

well that's because i don't actually judge EDM that i don't know about. despite my dislike for ASOT i usually will keep it on while at work simply because unlike so many that judge dj's without having heard them recently...i want to make sure i still don't like it. same goes for global dj broadcast. i'll tune in once and awhile to see if its any better than the last time. plus it is the rare occasion armin or markus will play a tune that i love. i'm sure that's not something that very many people that bash say sasha or zabiela can say... |
