| Tech, psy, house, trance......it's all good. I wasn't really trying to limit the judging to just one style. Personally, I have some really kick ass house tunes that I mix with my trance. We're looking more at teh mixing and the flow of the music. Now, if you've got some teeny-bopper pop that you try to throw in well......you're ass is going to the DOGS! If I ever hear Brittney Spears up here for a mix, I'll just go hang myself and save everyone else the trouble! LOL |

ok then any style goes
though I'm not to keen a psy listener I think I'd judge it fairly based on mixing skills, but as far as happy hardcore goes, well :crazy:

hardly judging fairly. :eyes:
This should be judged on mixing technique not what style of music is in the mix. Otherwise we would all put happy hardcore in our mixes.:crazy: |

I said, I MIGHT be, not that I was gonna out of choice, it's kind of inevitable, e.g. if u've only ever used intel pc's and was asked which is better between intel and amd, which would u choose?
I was just making an example coz I don't listen to hardcore and if some1 did a mix of it I MIGHT not be the best in judging it... whereas it'd be the opposite with house/trance coz that's my style ;)
rest assured that I will judge all mixes to the best of my ability, regardless of genre, by mixing techniques etc... as stipulated in the rules of these contests
