I'm going down to my friends Lakes on friday, 4 of us are camping out,having a fire, getting drunk and fishing for Carp as well. Should be a great laugh. I'm taking the video camera as well so pics and vid can be posted if anyone wants.
Anyone got any good camping/fishing stories? Good times? Bad Times? |

Camping is awesome. The last time I went, we went to some mountain range somewhere in the middle of the country (I forget where) and we had a right laugh. We ended up climbing up some huge mountain with nothing but shorts and t-shirts on, whereas everyone else on the mountain was a professional hiker, complete with all the gear. We must have looked ridiculous.
And there was another time where we all got drunk in the middle of a forest, and one of my mates ended up losing his glasses on the bonfire, and had to pay a good £120 for a new pair just so his parents wouldn't find out.
"Dom, I've found my glasses..."
"Where were they?"
"...on the fire."

yeah i always have a blast camping. Last year we went in November so it was cold as
we drank and shot each other with our airsoft guns and made a bonfire then my friend matt fell in the creek cos he was so drunk and we had to send him home cos he was soaking wet and would've probably died.
I slept in the bakc of my car too because it was too cold to sleep outside. But yeah fun times. I want to go camping again. |

I've been camping before. No really. :happy2:
In the desert and in the mountains. I like the mountains better because of the views and all the different crap. All the desert has is some bushes some sand and some rocks. And some scorpions and deadly spiders. And snakes. And morons climbing steep hills with their dirtbikes. But the forest smells good, like new car smell...or one of those car fresheners that are in the shape of a christmas tree. And there are always strange noises in the mountain forests. Birds and other animals making their calls. OIEEEE OIEEEEE, AALALALALALALLAL....WHAAAAAAAAOOOOOOO!. Puts you right to sleep. |
