No offense but I don't think this thread was really the appropriate place for your continual rant. You're completely missing the point here.
1. Clubs <> parties (I thought the difference was obvious)
2. Clubs <> bars (bars used to be called "singles bars" and have always existed for the sole purpose of finding a mate... their owners may call them clubs to make them sound more upscale but they are still bars)
And I don't know which geographical areas you're talking about specifically, but my best guess as to why drugs aren't as much of a factor in "other places" is: (a) Drugs are harder to obtain "anywhere else", and (b) if you're talking about anywhere in Europe then electronic music IS the pop music, so the level of drug use would be on par with what you see here in a Top 40 bar or the Live 8 show.

I don't think girls at afterhours are any different than anywhere else. If you come accross as sane, and nice, most will talk to you. But even that is usually met with attitude. Hmmm boy do I appreciate my gf :D |

In full agreement here! I can't speak for ALL of the girls...b/c I have met a couple rude ones. But for the most part 95% of the girls at EDM bars are super nice. I've had so many plesant experiences, and met so many ppl. I love the bathroom chats, when you're friends are waiting outside for you, and you emerge 30 mins later, and they're like "did you fall in" and you're like "no, I just met a friend!". I remember also, the first time I went to the Guvernment, I was dancing up on a podium, and I met this girl from Buffalo...she was so cool. Right when I got up there, she was like "I'm going to apologize in advance if I hit you while I'm dancing, I don't mean to."
Us EDM girls I must say are the least bitchy girls you'll ever meet at a bar! Hats off to us :) WOO HOO! |
