listened through it a couple of times and I must say I am dissapointed. Talk should be such a good tune to make a good remix of but Max Graham really failed. Sounds just like if he only sampled bits of the tune and added a bassline. And its really sad that he didnt include the song since that one is the true strength of Talk.

Im sure someone else may be able to do a much better remix.

Oh too bad you didn't really like it. I have been playing the vinyl alot over the past few days and loving it. I'm not a hardcore Coldplay fan but still like most of their songs, older albums more than X&Y tho, and for me this is a nice and smooth remix and better than many Coldplay bootlegs out there. I prefer instrumental over vocals in EDM anyway so if i want the singing i'd listen to the originals.

Holy cow, Batman! This is my 5000th more or less serious post here.

I also prefer instrumental over vocals but still I think its possible to make a more professional than this sleepy remix which Max Graham put out. Especially since he put out quality stuff in the past .
This sounds like if it was made in 15 mins

Boring remix, nothing special, perhaps when he used the vocals it would be slightly better

Assuming no way it will be on Digital purchase :S

Would like to here the vocals yes.

keep in mind i made this just for me to play, not sure how it got put out...

its more of an edit because i loved that guitar riff in the breakdown, not something i put out as a "here's my best remix of talk that i made for you all"

Floorfiller
huh....that's kinda lame it got pressed without your knowledge...
max graham
happens all the time, it contains an unlicensed sample so i don't really have any recourse...not a big deal.

Yeh i know lots of tunes get pressed and released without actual permission from the artists/remixers and this is one of those again then as you say.

For me a track doesn't necessarily need to be the most amazing piece of work ever with lots of complex elements in it and full of everything, it just needs to have "the thing" for me which can be pretty much everything. I got addicted to this track right away when i first listened to it in my local store and here, at least for me, simple is beautiful.

Hey Max, i'm just interested what would your "real" remix of a Coldplay track be like then if you ever would make one.. compared to this "only u edit"? I guess then there would be vocals along as well?

I love the tune, i think its fab. I aint heard the original though but this mix is great.

On a side note, if you make it for yourself, dont give it too anyone EVER. Dont even leave it lying around a studio, dj booth or anything. You wouldnt believe who gets their hands on CDR's these days.

Yes! I have heard amazingly strange and unbelievable stories how have some tracks found their way onto vinyls. Maybe the artists should always walk around with 110% trustworthy and loyal armed guards who watch carefully that no one besides the artist/DJ him/herself doesn't come closer than 10 feet of the CDR. Wouldn't be too handy but it should keep them from ending up released unauthorized. :stongue:
