Coldplay - Talk (Max Graham Remix) / Coldplay vs. Max Graham - Talk

I hardly ever post threads here because not really "feeling" too many new tracks nowadays but Max's instrumental take on Coldplay's next single off the X&Y album is a fantastic piece of moody prog/trance whatever you want to call the genre (like i would care d'oh!), in his oh so addictive style.
It had arrived to my local store today but i have no clue if it's new to the world as i didn't happen to ask.. i guess released a few days ago if i'm not totally wrong. Anyways, so i listened to it and fell in love instantly. Absolutely wonderful version, one of my fav Coldplay remixes so far. Keeps the vibe of the original but adds some EDM punch to it. I hate to rate tracks so i won't, i'll leave it to you folks.

really has a lovely dark and moody atmosphere that fits together beautifully. |

Can you give exemples? Because I'm collecting his stuff, and don't really know them, so I can't tell old from new. |

listened through it a couple of times and I must say I am dissapointed. Talk should be such a good tune to make a good remix of but Max Graham really failed. Sounds just like if he only sampled bits of the tune and added a bassline. And its really sad that he didnt include the song since that one is the true strength of Talk.
Im sure someone else may be able to do a much better remix. |
