Hey a progressive house/trance tune i worked on a while ago.. Some vocal/choir and gate synths set the atmosphere, while the tribal and techy sounds/bass set the groove right!! I was happy to find it again and i just did a quick eq on it and decided to share it. Take a listen and tell me what you guys think..!

| pretty coo tune..id say make it more banging proggy..add a bigg bassline digweed style, make it revolve around that then have that big ass break with the gated synths and the choir, could sound sickkkk..the vocal is kinda lame no offense but if u add the right fx to it, it might sound coo, id recomend a vocoder of some sort, jus something to add spice to it. lots of potential, keep at it. |

yeah the voice is dry barely any effects on it, i plan to do it later because its on the same module as other instruments i couldnt add many effects. Thanks for your feedback!

I dislike the kick game, a simple 4/4 loop will fit perfectly. And please, delete these vox samples at 1.08... :nervous:
The construction is weird, but I hate the conventions, so do what you want!
I agree with Chris: try do put a breakbeat part during the breakdown, it will sound amazing!
Anyways, it's a good effort, the melody is good and the atmos fits well. |

Bonjour d-miurge, Thanks for your feedback.. What do you mean by conventions, not sure.. This is my style , some tracks i keep it normal 4/4 some not ! You got any productions i can hear of yours ? A lot of ppl are hating on the vox, personally i thought it was a bit corny too but i kept it in there probalby will delete it. Glad you liked it my friend from france 1

to my mind, rules = conventions (same meaning in french sorry :p ) = a nice 1 minute long intro with 4 percs, to be dj friendly. So, doing music with your feelings is better than doing music with these "conventions". ;)
I have no sample there of my own productions. But you'll can listen to my tunes soon (a remix on Babylon Records, lots of collabs coming with Terje Bakke under the alias 'Soda Please', a The Last Atlant EP, etc.)
Btw, I'll enter the new Proton Radio contest, so you'll can listen to my style! :)
