have you got any tatoo on your body? if so hoe do you feel about them, don't you get bored of it after long peroid of time?

| I've got a tiny heart on my hip that I got years ago. I got it really low down so nobody has to see it unless i want them to. I got it when I was 19 and just beginning to break free from my parents (they both hate tattoos). But I love it - its nothing big or spectacular, but it reminds me that i don't have to do everything my parents or anyone else tells me. |

I have yet to see a piece of art, or anything, that I'd like to wear on my body for the rest of my life.
I see alot of tattoos that look cool on other people but, I just don't think it'd work on me. |

I have two tatoos one on my back and one on my chest. I don't much like the one on my back anymore and I'm going to see if I can get a bigger one there as a cover-up.
Unless its something really small or you're really drunk a tatoo should be very meaningful to you. You should take lots of time to think about what you want and what would best communicate your personality or whatever. You'll have it the rest of your life and unless you want a huge noticable scar in its place you can't get rid of it once its there.
A good place to start would be to do some research about concepts, ideas, people, places, or things that intrigue or excite you. See whats out there to represent them. You can also google for tatoo pictures and get ideas off that.
Finally, make absolutely certain you are surer than sure before you put ink to skin. If you don't you might end up with the most tackly ugly tatoo i've ever seen one of my friends has: colored tiger eyes above his ass crack (where girls get them). Its so sad because I just don't have the heart to tell them their tatoo sucks. |
thanks for the info mate, I don't think i'll be considering a tattoo for some long while, as you said I need to look into it very carefuly bcoz I dont wanna end up with something that satisfy me ONLY for couple of months or a year... |
