having gone to some tota parties i'd say toronto parties hardest.
vancouver would be right up there if theree weren't so many regulations and that places would be allowed to be open past three am. sure is nice seeing shows with headliners with room too dance though. :) :) :) |

Okay, gotcha. I had read what you wrote thinking you were trying to come off hardcore about doing drugs = dont like the music.
Anyways, I agree, its a TOTALLY difference experience, and generally speaking now, I like going sober (well, drunk but no e) better too myself.
I dont like being sketchy the next day so much anymore, it annoys me more than it used to (though that could also be the calibre of pills id been getting of late before i really cut back).
Plus, i just feel more into the night as a whole when i relfect back on it, if i didnt drop. I remember more too. yes, im not as hyper and uber uber ulta-happy, but im naturally very upbeat and excited, so that dont really make much difference. nada or fahad and my crew should be able to vouch for me here!! :D :p :cool:
I agree, both are 2 different ways to party and both have their merits (and non-merits too :D).
Regarding "if you go out not high and leave all pissed off, then something might be wrong" -- this is true, but id say (esp. when dealing w/ TAs) its not the music thats wrong, its the crowd. i know little one LOVES trance as much as she does Eric ;) but she simply cant deal w/ the guv crowd and wont go bc she has a HORRIBLE time there and simply doesnt wanna generally subject herself to that... in her case, its the crowd, the venue... i can guarantee you though that her passion for the uber-trance is strong in her small little tiny 5 foot body! :) :) YAY! PLURR!!!!

Everyone is always going to have different opinions on drugs with the clubbing scene. As many of you have meantioned drugs are not for everyone.
I'll freely admit I've done my fair share and wouldn't have it any other way. I've gone to many parties sober and I've gone to many parties wrecked, either way the music is still as good. This doesn't mean as some people have said that I don't like the music because I do drugs at a club. I DO LOVE the music and it's all about the music for me, as it is for mostly all of us here.
No one will ever be able to pin a tag on someone just because they do or don't do drugs. Everyone has their own thing, and that will never change. All choices a person makes are for a reason, and whatever the reason or the choice for that matter, it's their choice.
And that my friends is my two cents worth.

| my MAIN reason for sayin what i said was that "partying hard" was very quickly associated in one of the first posts on here... and i believe u can "party hard" with no drugs as well... just maybe not quite as long but the human body can only take so much right? i'd like to party always!!! |

I totally agree with you buddy. You always bring a wicked vibe to any party you attend.
I don't do drugs and many of my friends don't and we always have an amazing time and last the whole night partying hard. I agree with everyone who feels that if you need to do drugs to party hard and enjoy the music why bother. I think the effects of music is my drug. I don't however have any problems with someone who likes to do drugs to enhance there night though. Everything in moderation as long as your not a sketch bag lol :tongue2 . |
