And if you buy a Behringer DJX700, you'll definitely learn the hard way ;) |

| i must have got lucky cuz ive had one for 2 years and never had a problem with it... you gota have the right amp with speaker setup with it and cant over push it cuz even the djm-600 can sound like if you over push it... sucks for you guys but i like mine (for the $) |

though my first impression was like its a toys'r'us plastic box with switches, I must admit Its a cheap way of getting the basics of general mixing and digital effects.
Overall its not that bad. |

| but most of the things you won't need to use if you're a beginer dj (for reasons which i won't enter right now), so a two channel mixer that is well built by a better company will get you further than this toy of mixer. |

How long have you been playing for and how many other mixers have you touched?
I'm not trying to make fun, or say anything negative about you bro, but this is not at all a quality piece of equipment... |

I bet 1/2 of the people who replied to this topic havent even used one!
Your views are soooo biased!!
------
My mate brought his round the other day - which he got for £120. It's his first mixer so you can't complain really.
When he took it out I realised that it’s huge! Its roughly the size of the djm600 (being a imitation of it). We spun a couple of tracks hooked up to my (new) Mackie speakers. Yes the sound quality from the mixer was average. Nothing like the Allen & Heath or Rane… The cross fader is quite nice, (got a 500,000 guarantee before it bleeds) the cuts are...amazing - for the price. Much better than my Numark DM1002MKII mixer. It almost completely cut out the bass/mid/treble.
It’s also got an effects function. Its ok though you can’t adjust the depth of each effect, just the volume + it’s got a BPM (which you shouldn't pay attention too)
In my opinion it’s deffo one of the best in its price range! I would have taken it over the dm1002mkII anyday!
At the end of the day mate, its up to you, everyone has there own personal opinion. Try it out for yourself. Don't make up your mind by what others are saying though, do take it into consideration apart from 2 letter words - "stay away" :toocool: |
