So i have a labret piercing ( the one that is located under the bottom lip in the center) ... so last night while holding one of my baby cousins on my lap she got very excited and started flailing her arms around and ended up socking me in the mouth with her small but powerful fist... and it hit me square in the piercing.. needless to say there was a brief obscenity from me along with bleeding and today there is nothing left but a sore sore...sore inner bottom lip...
i've had this thing for about 4 years now and i'd have the say this has been the worst 'hit in the piercing' i've ever had...
so to all the TAs who've gone under the needle whats been your worst 'hit in the piercing' to date? or know anyone whos expirienced it?

An old buddy of mine, Kail, had his left nipple pierced and somehow a the beach one day several years ago, it accidentally got ripped out... clean off!! Yikes!! :whip: He now has his other nipple pierced instead.
I know when I'm dancing around at Guv and I'm wearing my beads, they will bounce up and down vigorously, and especialy when I wear the larger ones, they will bang against my nipple piercing and it frickin' stings for a second or two. Luckily it dont happen all the often or I dont notice it all the time, bc the times when I do notice it, its really really annoying. Oh well, I love my beads and having the nipple pierced, you just gotta deal with it!
And when at the Apr. 30th Hulla, I was sitting against the wall with my legs stretched out. A girl was sitting between my legs and was leaning against my chest. Anyways, her hair somehow got rapped around my piercing and when she moved her head it completley yanked and pulled on it -- that stung! LOL. It was hard and very tricky in the dark and being all sketchy trying to figure out how to remove the hair that was very tangled up in my piercing! there wasn't much room to play with! :(
Those are my stories. Sorry to hear about ur lip Nikki! I LOVE that pericing, I wanna get it down, but sadly I cannot bc of where I work... so I doubt ill ever have it done. I hope it starts to feel better soon!! Glad nothing was ripped or damaged (besides the soreness and the bruising of course!) :D

| The only painful thing related to piercings i get (pretty often too) is when i'm chewing gum and accidentally mistake my tongue ring for the gum and chomp onto it nice and hard. Pain! :( |

Strange, but that's NEVER happened to me.
Well, actually, I think it happened once or twice back when I first got it, and I had in metal balls back then too! Ouch! I freakin' HATE the feeling of metal being rubbed or crunched against your teeth.
Plastic/acrylic balls are the only way to go for tongue rings IMO. :D

Awww thanks Jamie!! i love my piercing too! i wish you could get it done it would look totally hot on you!
That would def be a pain in the ass about the nipple ring.. but the nip rings are well worth the sting cause they are HOT!!

| I started piercing myself when I was 16. I have done my ears 9 times, both nipples, my tongue, both sides of my nose. the center of my chest ( about where a pendant would hang) and naval. I have paid to have someone to do my labret, my septum and an Ampallang. I would have to say that streatching my tongue to a 4 gauge and my septum to a -00 gauge ( about the size of a Sharpie marker) were pretty painfull, but the ampallang was the worst. The person who did it told me a month or two for healing but after doing more research I found out it was like a 1 to 1 1/2 years. Its been a year and its still healing... So after all this the only ones I have left are my tongue which has nothing in it ( dental damage) my septum ( which has nothing in it ( shrunk to a 0 gauge) and the ampallang which is the only one left which is still healing...:mad: |

Quick question: what is an ampallang?
Jamie: my problem with non-metal balls is that they fall off too quickly. So i keep the metal balls on just in case because i keep rubbing them against my palate without realising it... which loosens the ball :( |
