Well, I have a 400W and a 500W amp both wired to my computer. Two 10" woofs and, ummm, about 12-13 subs are 'bout enough...

Why in the world would I need anything else? I can't push the system I have to max power without knocking a ceiling down.

these things usually add ridiculous stereo imaging or some lame exagerate EQing that's nothing close to natural.
They often also add some form of reverb or some lame ass shiat.

You're welcome. I live in a world of sound with 900W power on computer, 800W in living room, 510W in car, and just a mere 200W at work. So I take it you live on earbuds or something...

aural enhancements defeat the purpose of mastered audio
For example; If I were a signed artist, I wouldn't spend $$$ on mastering of a track only to have some spotty nerd rape it with some dodgy 3D enhancer or whatever just to make his ty pc speakers sound marginally better. |
