What religion are you?

This could have been done before, but I did not find anything when i searched for it?
So what denomination (religion) or set of beliefs do you have? Why is that? Is it because of your parents or did you research it (etc).
I don't want this to become a flame war against anyone's beliefs or religion. To me, what another person believes or does not believe doesn't make him/her any better than the rest of us.
I am curious, because I see so many TA's from countries other than the USA that I want to know more about their cultures.
I was baptised Roman Catholic but....
I will give you further info in another post before this one becomes to long to read. |

If I were to label myself as practicant of a religion and closing my mind to a set of ideas, I'd be building my own prison. That being said, I was once Roman Catholic with Kardecist influences - this being my parents' religion. As for myself, I've been studying Buddhism, Taoism and Euro-American "Humanities", such as Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.
My set of ideas? Heck, I had Luke 6:37 in my sig which is mainly Buddhist principles with an Euro-American philosophical background. |
