Hi guys!

Wondering if you can help me? I basically need to know what the difference is between the Access Virus TI Keyboard and the Access Virus TI Polar? The price seems to be the same everywhere I look! I had a good read on the Access webpage but it didn't really give anything away!

Apart from the colour and obvious visual differences' I see nothing more! I'm now waiting in the vain hope that any of you guy's could shed some light on the issue! I am gonna be buying either one in the very near future; hence the homework!

Many thanks in advance!

Hey buddy! :)

Well, according to the website all 3 new versions of the TI hold the same technology, so I don't think there will be any difference apart from the looks?

Yeah, I thought it read that they where the same Wim! Just seems strange making three synths that can do the same thing... the Polar just seemed the odd one of the bunch. That aside led me into thinking maybe it offered something different to the keyboards and desktop versions!

The only difference between the TI Polar and the TI Keyboard is that the TI Polar only has 37 keys, but they're synth-action. The TI keyboard has 60 semi-weighted keys. Hope that clears the issue up :;)

synth-action?

Thanks guys that as certianly settle the matter now!

I have another little problem though, sould I really put all my money into one basket? I could have a Novation Supernova 2, JP8080 and a Virus C for the same money (approx ebay prices that is)! Tough call I know!

Thanks once again!

It's not out yet. There is no review about it.

If VST integration works, it will be awesome. But if you're only after a synth with VST integration, you could also buy Powercore + Virus Plugin.

I am not sure if it can beat a combination of JP8000, Virus C and Supernova. You got three different synths from different manufacturers, which are kind of standard in trance producion. You wouldn't regret having these three beauties I guess :gsmile:

I think it is out cos you can buy it at 'turnkey' whether that pre-order I am unsure! Regards the TI, I totally agree with you, that I think having the top three hardware synths in your arsenel would be better than the fancy TI!

Thanks for your opinions!

Yesterday I visited my local music store. They say it still takes
two months till the TI arrives. There are lots of stores (Thomann, Soundland) where you already can buy the TI, but it won't be delivered the next weeks.

If TI was out, this would spread like fire through all the production forums in the web. There are lots of people who are really waiting for it

From what I've read, the Polar has a 24bit/96kHz audio interface built in. Thats why its a cut down keyboard since its aimed at the travelling/laptop musician.

Its wierd, cos they dont have this information on their website, but I've definately read it somewhere (CM mag I think).

So, is there anybody here on this forum who has a virus ti yet? You can order it here in the Netherlands from a lot of internetstores now. I'm thinking of buying one myself, so i'm really interested in some reviews.
