i took a history course once in school and remember one thing
for sure from that course...
biryani was actually invited by the last emperor of the Mughal Empire ..his name was Akbar...
well i dont think being an emperor he was actually involved the cooking of the first biryani ever but i'm sure he came up
with the idea or something and got the staff to cook it up |

Yes I hope so too!! I've been four years ago though it wasn't safe and all I still had a very memorable trip...ppl are AMAZING...everything is beautiful!! :) |

Just out of curiosity did anyone else go meet the infamous hugging guru from India last month?
Boy, was it an experience...I'm not even Indian or a Hindu and I was one of the thousands who waited for hours to get a spiritual blessing from her in the form of a hug.:D
