Why do so many n00bs go running to Linux when they've been ed over.. Linux is NOT the only answer, it wasn't meant to be an everyday OS (even though some releases claim to be).
It's like comparing a skateboard to a bicycle. Just stop. |

Um I've used Linux before and I'm not a gamer so it would be fully functional. |

I know lots of people that talks to me and they don't use linux, Even though it's an open source operating system, there is not that much suport for it in terms of software. |

You are right, Linux is not the answer, Many of todays software doesnt even suport it. |

I'm not saying that everyone who goes to linux shouldn't, and if you feel like that's the right choice, then by all means, go ahead.
I'm just telling all the lurkers who might read this to really think about the pros/cons of abandoning windows for linux. You can't blame microsoft for everything that happens, you have to protect yourself too.
edit: YES, tigerclaw. That's a major issue. |

Yes. I get popups even with Ad-aware SE professional ad watch...I've modified my registry numerous times and the threads keep appearing...wtf |
