So I've been having trouble getting rid of spyware and whatnot so I've been thinking about switching to Linux...especifically to SuSE 9.3 Professional...Windows ing sucks and its aggravating me...

Are you using any of the Anti-Spyware programs such as Microsoft Antispyware, Ad-Aware, Or Spy-Bot?, If you have any of those, be sure to update each of them first then do full scans. |

d/l EMS Free Surfer, Ad-aware, and run Norton AV as well. The Free Surfer stops popups. Ad-aware stops some processes and identifies spyware. The Norton identifies viruses. With all three running, you should be cool. Works for homey, although I got a couple more which are too complicated to explain.

This is a replica of my old thread. I said the same things, and got the same things reccomended to me. In the end, I had to re-install windows after burning 6 :whip: DVDs full of my 'stuff'.
Just get LOADS of good anti-spyware, and anti-virus programs. And a good firewall. |
