I'm currently working on this :

This emulation is 70-80% done but I still need some infos.
I would like someone to record his JP for me. I need to understand the behavior of Triangle Mod / Feedback Osc and how the Saw/Triangle shape modification works.
This is exactly what I need :
1- Turn off every effects and tone control.
2- Disable every LfoDepth and envelope depth and set the Lfo1 rate to the middle.
3- Choose a LowPassFilter with no resonance and cuttoff wide open.
4- Amp sustain must be wide open so you can play long notes.
5- Turn off sync, ring, portamento and X-Mod depth.
6- Turn Balance knob on the left because I only need to hear osc1.
7- Turn Osc1 controls on the left and choose Triangle Mod.
8- Play a long note like C4 and, while the note is playing, turn slowly control1 from the left to the right. Then do the same with control2. Then turn control1 to the left and finaly play with Lfo1 rate to the extrems.
9- Do the same with Feedback osc, Saw(osc1) and finnaly Triangle(osc1).
I hope someone will help me!

Just curious everyMan, are you creating that in NI reaktor?? |

You made a nice interface. Is this in synthedit, Reaktor, VAZ or did you program it in C++? |

Great!
It boggles my mind that no one has successfully emulated this device yet!
However, I am a little concerned... how do you plan to create a softsynth emulating a JP8080 when you don't own a JP8080? O.o
Well good luck, can't wait to hear the final product! |
