I knew someone would say that, but I just don't like the sounds of stupider(don't ask me why), so I jusy go with "more stupid".

choose the best architect/engineer that live on earth right now, and send them back to 1000 years ago, then ask them to build a building or a castle or cathedral, just how they build it at those ages, I garantee you that they will have no ing clue what to do!

but yes we are getting smarter day by day, but thats only with help of computers and machins!!!

The irony in Googooly being the person to start this thread makes me giggle some what rather childishly.

Well DUH. The institutions of machine have severed the connection, the tri-force, per se, between God, Nature and mankind. Instead, machinery has replaced God as the omnipresent and omniscient force. It's due to those actions that we also seperated ourselves from Nature by keeping ourselves in our large cities.

Personally, I think that anyone who has their life totally devoted to "God" could go back in time and create those majestic creations.

I don't think we are getting more and more stupid. I just think our skill sets are changing.

In the old days someone would have likely done a complex math problem by hand. Nowadays, it's likely that you would use a graphing calculator/computer to solve such a problem. It seems easier but, you still need a certain skill set to operate the calculator.

But its not about what you could do with all these latest technology and computers, its about what you could do without them. In past none of these were available, yet it didn't stop them making magnificent buildings. I'm talking about 1000 years ago when empiers were ruling the world. they made castles that put put sientists in quation of "HOW did they do it?!"

okay maybe we are not getting stupider, but we are not as smart as those people lived in past. Thanks to the latest technology. :)

Googooly, I think you as a person are becoming more stupid, but, don't try and lay that on the rest of us.
