increasingly stupid compared to previous generations? no
more and more lazy compared to previous generations? yes
i know that when i'm propperly motivated to do something, i do it, and it do it spectacularly, and then i look back when i'm in my lazy mood and i'm like wtf how did i do that.
when people are motivated by things that they truely believe in, that they feel is what they were ment to do with their lives, they can do crazy things.
and imagine if you get like, 500 people with such motivational forces like religion for example, thusly you get huge crazy chruches, or the pyramids etc.
in terms of intelligence, we are exponentially smarter than aforementioned ancestors, we are just a bunch of lazy s. |

well, america itself is shooting itself in the foot when it comes to making kids grow up to be as smart as the previous generation.
I don't know if this is just california or the whole US but:
50 years ago, the minimum class of math one needed to pass to get a diploma from HS was calculus.
these days the minimum class of math one needed to passs to get a diploma from HA is algebra. |

Really? I would bet most people know who they are and how to spell their name properly by the time they reach year 3 in first school. |
