And no big loud noises out of no where to scare you - that's a cheap thrill in my opinion. Rather, these scares hit you deep because of the things it forces you to think about.

I saw it, I would say it was very suspenseful and some of the murders were kinda gory and towards the end the whole plot comes together. Pretty sick.

Hmm i have seen over 300 horror movies during my life so far and haven't been actually scared while watching any of them in the past 20 years.. i think my scariest movie moment has been Suspiria, saw it back in 1983 when i was 5.. it was one of the first horror movies i've seen.

Of the more recent ones Saw is moviewise pretty good even if it isn't really scary..

i think thats what instigated my fear of flying

jaws was and still is the top grossing movie in the horror genre. and the first film to kick off the 'blockbuster' trend 30yrs ago. happy anniversary.

this is true, maybe it was scary in the 70's...but then again so was he
