Low quality? I've never had anything from Ikea break... what the hell are you doing with your furniture? |

| No the best furniture is when people sell theirs at a garage sell or when people throw it out. Cheap and reliable. |

| Ikea is good quality (for what it is) and low priced. If you are looking for real hardwoods for your furniture though you have to go elsewhere if you want contemporary furniture. Ikea is all laminate based furniture which helps keep the cost down. |

| it is very nice furniture for the price (most of my stuff is from ikea) but the quality does suck a bit...but yea i guess you could buy 2 of the same thing from ikea and have it break once and it'll still be cheaper than something from another brand lol |

| All of my furniture is teaque so I won't ever replace it. It's virtually impossible to break, dent, or even scratch in most cases... but it's also close to $30k for the seven pieces that I have. It was purchased 25 years ago in Europe and they no longer ship it to the states because of all of the environmental concerns surrounding teaque. I've pondered selling it to someone privately, buying $10k worth of new furniture, and using the rest as a down payment on a house... but I like my furniture. |

I dont think he was even a twinkle in his parents eyes 25 years ago. Sounds to me like that it was inherited. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with IKEA as well. I actually just killed 2k there yesterday (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and family room things).
I like their style and quality and it suits me right. I assemble it and know that it is set up correctly. |
