Full control? Well, not only will you need to be very close with the artists whose tunes you play, you'll also need sequencers, samplers, and maybe one of these or similar...

A sequencing program.....
With a crossfader, and time stretching algorithms.
With which you can have a sequence of songs play... and cross fade between them, or loop, blend, remix, w/e and hook up midi controllers that emulate the feel of using a mixer.
...not a dj program as well as a sequencer.... not at all
And having a mixer board with 12+ faders is as useful in the djing sense as having a hot mermaid girlfriend, it looks good, but you can't use it. I mean...how do you a mermaid?:wtf: |

and i missed to mention one thing that i thought i did. i was gonna say that maybe this program is VERY useful but i just didnt understand it. i didnt close it cz i hated it, i just didnt understand it and i wasnt into that for the moment.
wow, alot of u took it soo offensively like u created the program lol. the reason why i thought this program is a mixer is cz i saw alot of posts saying 'ableton mix' so the first thing that went through my head is that the program is a mixer.
i know wut a sequencer is, but u guys can post another pic of a sequencer if u wanna.
in my original post, by saying i tried the demo and closed it instantly, i didnt mean that i hated it or anything like that, it was just not wut i was looking for at that moment. it looked a bit complicated, i didnt have time to play around with it, and i was lookin for something to produce music with at that moment, maybe something like pro tools.
ever go to the mall and not go to ur favorite clothing store just cz u dont wanna buy clothes that day or just rushing to get something quick from somewhere else? |
