Have any of you attended a live performance?

As I presume that all of you are Trance addicts, I'd like to ask if anyone here has actually attended any live performances hosted by certain DJ's. (eg. Paul Van Dyk live @ Gatecrasher SS)
Personally, I haven't. I really wouldn't mind going to see Tiesto live on the booth. :D |

yes, many times.
To me; it seems as big name djs are either very good or aren't. No real middle ground. I don't like PVDs music very much, but he's my #2 fav dj to see live. Or if I like their music, they tend to suck as djs, ie Benny Bennassi. Ferry Corsten is the only dj i've really seen who i like his music and he kicks ass on the tables. He's my #1 live dj to see.
Are you lookin for advice on whether to go see them? or what? |

Just another question regarding live performances:
In the atmosphere of such a frantic crowd, is it still ethical to scream along with them or would you be seen as a moron? :tongue2 |

I assumed this meant "live acts".
If you just mean "have any of you seen big DJs live?", then it seems a bit of a silly question :nervous: |

Well the only one I have ever been to is the Ultra Music Festial in Miami, and if your screaming along with everybody its really fun but if your the one guy in the crowd yelling "TIESTORRZX!!!" during a breakdown then you might just come off as a fool. :clown: |

Your assumption deviates from my question. I was actually asking if anyone here has attended a "live act/s" and if so, to state its details.
Note that my question was only used as a socialising stimulus. |

and your question proves vague and confusing. in the realm of the EDM community there is a difference between a "live act" and simply a dj performing live in a club. a live act consists of live instrumentation and vocals, whereas a dj does not usually perform with those added elements... |

Thank's for outlining the difference there, Floorfiller. As my question above contradicts itself, I'll change the subject to clubs. |
