I do think that its a bit pricy but they say production set is over 2mil so who knows it could be worth it the 70 bucks. I think I was told they say its a 5 hour show.

Its the production cost. And its 70 Dollars for floor.. there's a 40 dollar tix for the 300 Seat level.. but Im not too bonded to that one personally, I like it on the floor. I havent bought the tix, currently it would hurt. heh

I think Im going, I will never go back in time to the original, and from what I read from the LA Concert, it was either really good or really bad, but so far my thinking is set on going.. with a nice group of friends is always fun anyways. The guy may suck with mixing, but he knows about trackselection in my opinion, very very likely I'll go ;-)
Woah 70 for 4 hrs..That's insane..everyone knows how much of Mr. Verwest whore I am, but um, that's pretty steep..but I still want to go!! what to do, what to do???   :conf: But hey Pipito if you're down then why not, I'm all for it aslong as a nice group of people get going :D:D:D:p

In Concert
hello.

A few anwers to your questions that have come up re hours production and ticket prices.

Hours and Set Times:

Miami will be a four show, Tiesto plays throughout, there are performances around Tiesto, but he is always onstage playing.

Voodoo will be four hours as well, in a festival setting, Tiesto closes out the night after the rock headliner is done, he has the entire festival to himself for the last hour and a half.

NYE in Las Vegas is a six hour set with special guest performances and an amazing NYE countdown.

Production:

This is a massive show, i don't think anyone has seen anything quite like it in North America. I've read the reviews and though there are a vocal few who slag the event, I was there, saw every minute of it, and there were 10,000 people dancing and having a phenomenal time, cheering throughout. I have not seen anythign like that event in the years in this business, and most people would tell you the same thing.

Ticket Prices:

in every market there are multiple price options, all of which are good views of the show. the tickets aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for - this is not a dj on the stage with decks and a few speakers and lights and the artist pocketing a bunch of cash, it's an EVENT that was created by the best designers / builders / performers / production people in the industry and they don't come cheap. Tiesto at every turn had us turn up the quality, he could have taken the dollars and run, but instead he wanted the US Tour to be something extraordinary, a few select shows, better sound, more lights, additional special effects and pyro, top performers.

In Miami, there isn't a bad seat in the house, it's a 6500 person state of the art arena. if you want room to dance, the floor GA tix make sense, if you want to be seated (thought no one seemed to actually sit) and up close the seated GA makes sense - both offer the Tiesto in Concert Tour Tshirt with the tix price - and if you want to get a lower priced ticket, we have upper seated available and they are great seats. with that huge production in there, it will feel like an oversized nightclub.

check out the pictures of the LA event and the video clips we'll have up start of next week. decide for yourself. we sold a lot of tickets the first day onsale.

LOL, including practiced-to-the-point-of-vomiting set. Also, he's probably gonna appear amidst fireworks wearing wizard's hat or something.

Don't forget to grab that wand on your way. It's all about magik after all.

I'm going! Wish it was more than 4 hours though....wtf. Oh well. Only 5,500 capacity at the arena? Omg...its gonna be packed to the roof.

Do you guys have an afterparty like the L.A. one?
