What time would you expect the voodoo TIC to finish ?

$70 ticket, $7 "convenience" charge by ticketmaster, what else, shipping, taxes... to see tiesto for 4 hours? Then drinks/food there.. ready to blow $150 or so? I don't get it.. can't I just see him in space for $20 for 4 hours ? It's not like he's got Jan Johnston singing , or who else? I really seriously don't get it.. Sounds like it'll be fun for whoever will go though. Enjoy it.

$70.00 is what my friend paid for his last minute Ultrafest ticket,
and you have a GAZILLION DJ's playing for over 13 hours!!

hmmm, well i'm not a tiesto fan, but i been wanting to do a vegas NYE for a few years now... who's with me?!?

of course this could change depending on possible Sander shows NYE (still trying to make it to 12 times for the year ;) )

It's a concert. How much do you guys normally pay for a concert? And for how long is that?
You can't compare it to Space. The location is there, the lights, booth, sound system is already there. As for it being only 4 hours, I'm pretty sure they wanted to make it 8 hours, but weren't allowed. It also means less $$$ for drinks, something that generally lowers ticket prices at festivals.
Furthermore, Tiesto doesn't make half the money he usually does when spinning in a club.

I have to agree with Wastland. Somebody just made a calculation and posted that with a $70 tix all event will come up to $150 - well, i guess you have no problems with paying $70 for alcohol, do you? It's rediculous.
I went to LA and due to cxl TIC in DC and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans (which may lead to cxl a Voodoo fest) i'm really considering coming to Ft. Lauderdale for a show, eventhough it won't look as huge (10.000 people) as a show in LA but more like an overpacked NYC Crobar.;)

if i wanted to go, i wouldnt mind spending the money... truth is: nothing will compare to TIC 2003 and i was there... i'm not going to ruin the memory by going to some half-ass interpretation of it here.

if i want to relive it, i'll watch my dvd... and NO, i didn't pay $70 for that one either :p
