DIY!
I always bleached my own hair. It's not hard.
Do NOT use 40 though!
Cuz THAT will burn your hair. I use 30 on everthing. If ur hair is that short that it can grown back again then I don't see a problem doing it yourself ;D |

i think 20 will be just fine for my hair color and just play it by ear until i think i have the right color down.
did you ever get the burning sensation in your scalp? i have pretty sensitive skin. |

just about every time i dye my hair.
20 should be fine... def not more then 30. and if u get irritated with 30 u can just IMAGINE 40!!! haha
Try putting the bleach on with the brush thing.. and that should cause it to go more on ur hair and less on the scalp. |

i dunno, i have faith that i can and will do a good job if i do it myself.. there's so much damn controversy over doing a bleach blonde job..!
i pretty much know exactly what to do- i'm gonna start out with a volume 10 just to be on the safe side. obviously move up to 20 if that doesn't get it done. but it should, since my hair is very light to begin with.
after i'm done bleaching, then i'll dye it a nice platinum color to get the luster back and a nice color in.
i'm gonna add a tiny little baby blue streak right above the corner of my forehead too, for s and giggles. w00t! \o/ |

you know what? the sick part is that i really truly want to do that. just to have that clean-shaven, peach fuzz feel. i've wanted to since i was 16 y/o. unfortunately, that'd be a lil Too crazy for my job. :/
i was thinking if i ever volunteer for Unicef or Oxfam, that's when i'll do it. :toothless |
