so after 2-3 months of contemplating, i've finally decided to bleach out my hair... but i have no clue what products to use and to be honest, i'm a bit scared since i've never done it before and the drug store brands don't do the job.
hair status/factors:
style/length: fauxhawk (supershort)
color: light blonde (champagne color but not ashy),
dyejobs: 3 different shades of blond in 2 months (clairol/loreal).
natural color: dirty/sandy blond.
was thinking about using Manic Panic FlashLightning bleach out kit but it may be extreme? they have the 30 or 40 volume. i want my hair to be on the yellow side of white, not that ugly greyish/transparent tone.
am i better off just going to a hairdresser bc it's dangerous or should i go to a beauty supply shop and buy the real deal or wha? :conf:
thanx for reading :happy2: :tongue2 |

| Just make sure you don't overdo it or your hair might start falling out. |

lol yes, i loooooove doing my hair different colors-- sometimes i take out my stress on my hair and sometimes i just do it out of sheer boredom. all in all, i haven't had a bad experience yet with my own dyejobs or with another colorist's dyejob. unfortunately, my colorist is now retired so i can't go to him.
i had super long hair this past winter- first i had light brown w/ blond streaks, then chestnut brown, then red (dark cherry wood color), then black-blue-- that was pretty cool but by that time, there was so much dye in my hair already that my cuticles were just FULL to the brim and wouldn't accept new color so it just kept running out whenever i was in the shower. by that time my hair was pretty fuct up so i decided to chop it all off.
so in may i got the hawk i have now, so all the previously dark colors are 100% gone/grown out..and i've just done some blond colors this summer to lighten it up. |
