Yes, for the encore at the end! Such an amazing night...I was only getting a little worried at the beginning that Kristina was so good she might outperform Blank & Jones...lol! The good thing is that everyone is different, so once Blank & Jones came on, I knew that I needn't worry. :D
The crowd's energy was boundless, especially for a Friday night! Tracks that I remember include Purple Haze "Adrenaline," B&J tracks "Perfect Silence" [E-Craig], "Mind of the Wonderful" [Martin Roth Rmx?], "Desire," and "A Forest." Victor's set also started good, but was a long night and didn't stay until the end...
The in-store at Virgin was fun, great to see Piet & Jaspa up close & personal. Piet said that they had just arrived on the plane and drove over to Virgin Records for the event. He was eating a muffin and they were drinking coffee, but both looked so excited to be there and very "fresh" considering they just finished a 12-hour or so flight!
They introduced a new Depeche Mode track that they're working on, and also their latest single. At the end, they took pictures with a lot of fans and signed most anything put in front of them (slipmats, my "In the Mix Vol. 2" CD cover, etc.) Someone made a comment about the international store not being open at www.BlankandJones.com and Piet replied that it should be open again after a week or so!
Here are some pics - since my Canon S400 broke, I was using my new S500 replacement that I just received in the mail yesterday. Had a lot of trouble focusing and seemed like pics with my S400 were better. :crazy: Canon told me to reset the camera (hold "menu" down for 8 seconds, for anybody else with a Canon) and try again, but if it's not better after that, then it's going back! At least some of them came out good enough to post though.

Our Love Parade Contest Winner:: Congratulations!!! You are a lucky man, and Lost Episode hopes you party like a rockstar!!!
These are just a few ok pics to give an idea of the night.
But I know a TON of people were taking great shots, so they will be posted as soon as we get them in.
Over 1000 people in Avalon last night.
Great night, can't wait til the rest of the reviews roll in :)

Ok not really...
...there was no quote of the night, but there were sounds and visions of the night. Sound of the night: K sky playing Alive + a ton of other nice tracks to open...closing with that great new Imogen Heap remix...
...Blank & Jones wasting no time to get right to the ing point and rock Avalon's EAW speakers...Killers remix, and a bunch of other good tracks...
...Victor just...closing that place the down...like someobody said...the people who left that party must have been TIRED! Because DANCING was the modus operandi...
Visions:
Standing behind the DJ at Avalon was a first for me...what a view! The few photos above don't do it justice...the DJ booth was simple and did the job...it was high enough that the DJ could really see the whole entire club and feed off the crowd, but the decks were low enough that there was still a great view of the DJ from the dance floor...
The LED wall many saw behind Deep Dish a few weeks back was REPRESENTING! Seeing the DJ's silhouetted against it was awesome...and Avalon's lighting was, as usual, subtle but captivating...especially later into the night.
So...all in all a great show...just good times...although due to a mix up I was not allowed to bring my "proffesional" (I wish!) camera in...next time it will get IN! :D
I spent about 150$ on alcohol... a bunch of Newcastles, 3 Adios Mother******s and a few Vodka Redbulls so I wouldn't fall asleep at 4:30 (even though I did on the stairs for a minute!)

I was a little worried at first since when the doors opened there was hardly anyone there. But people tend to start off in La and the dance floor got packed but there was still room to move and dance! :D
Kristina Sky had an awseome opening set. When she mixed "With out you near"-"Air for Life"-"Alive" I almost lost it! Telling by the reaction on the dance floor they lost it too.
Blank and Jones came on at around 12. Right away they started throwing down amazig tracks after amazing tracks. There was a mix classics and new tracks in there.
Their new track ( what is the name of it???) was amazing!:eyes: They played it at the instore as well.
So much energy behind the decks and during the set itself. So much Fun!! :D :D :D Oh ya Blank and Jones... Ummmm YUMMM! hehe there has to be something in the German water ;)
Blank and Jones played untill 3. I thought they where going to end at 2. :eyespop: Right after they where done I had to go.. Sorry Victor :(
I had such a Great time there with all the TA's you know who you are!
Mike from Interstate was even there!
