well, spun is an interesting movie about crystal. the girl for the life of her thought her dog was sick.
i think it's not necessarily hallucinations but you get fixated on something and make up crazy stories about it to yourself.
and also, who really knows what else they were on. they say that the amounts of meth in their systems were from 2-3 days prior. i highly doubt they would have any left on them. |

I never even came close to that state when i was on acid..
I can understand one of them to halucinate like that, but both of them?? The story sounds a little fishy. |

see Jon, I agree with your statement completely. I think that it is a lack of sleep (and food) that causes ones mind to start playing tricks on you. Being completely honest here.. I have had experience with this drug...and for long periods of time as well (not any more though).. I have smoked it and railed it and have never hallucinated off of it ever... which is why I was confused about them freezing to death.. cuz I have NEVER experienced anything like it ever and I was a regular user of it.

I think they were on something else.. it sounds almost as if they were doing PCP or something to make them think the cows were people who wouldn't help them. There is no way they would have those effects after doing it for the first time only 2-3 days later.. which is why I think there was something else involved!

It does sound a lil funny that they were BOTH hallucinating about the exact same thing!! this is one crazy story!! |

I read an extensive thread on Crystal Meth on tribe. Alot of people spoke out about their own previous addictions to the drugs and yes, mentioned extreme hallucinations.
But it wasn't the drug that made them hallucinate or any of the drugs chemical properties, it was the fact that after 2-3 days of sleeplessness, you begin to dream with your eyes open. As crazy as that sounds, and as crazy as some of your dreams may be, they may become believable when you know your eyes are open, you know you are moving, and you see complete, utter, insanity.
Sleep walking to the extreme.
This is a scary drug. Reading some of the tribers testimonies gave me shivers. It's a "soul raping drug that has no mercy".

Tina not only s up your mind, it steals your soul.
so far i've only lost one friend to this horrible drug, he tried it at the black party two years ago, got totally ed out of his skull, and hooked up with some guys and ended up seroconverting.
i'd never seen anyone go as insane over a chemcial as he did for crystal. ended up losing his job, stopped going to school, and disappeared for days on end trying to re create that high he got back in 2003. He passed away in may.
IMO tina is not something u just try once, nor is it anything to around with. I see soo many guys at circuit parties with lifeless eyes b/c they're lost in another world. |

Sorry to hear about your friend :(
and you are right.. it isn't something that just gets tried once and left alone.. it is something more powerful than that.. and can get out of control very easily.. I didn't have the severity that some others have had with loosing their jobs and such though.. although if it had continued on I probably could have lost a lot more then just the thousands of dollars wasted... I finally just cracked one day (mentally/emotionally) and that changed everything for me. I do know people who use it though and have it under complete control believe it or not.. they can have it one day, it can be gone another and not touched again for a year and be totally fine with it, but that isn't the usual case with meth. |

i know, my bf is like that, he's been able to use an insane amout a tina, and not become addicted. but we came to an agreement, he didn't use meth, and i stopped using something else |

After reading this article I am a little puzzled...
I realize how powerful Ice (crystal meth) is and what it can do to one.. but I don't if someone who used for the first time could have the effects this poor couple did. I have never known ice to be the type of drug you hallucinate from.. but I know it can seriously mess with your mind and is a very addictive drug.
I am wondering if this couple was on some other type of drug along with meth... what do you think?? |

I saw this exact story with this couple on TV like mths ago.
I was ing shaking...and I did not sleep well that night.
What a sad story!
I swear I started to cry while watching it on TV...listening to the family member talk about the couple....noone had a ing clue. |
