I started when I was 22 I think.. and I only contribute $60/mth..but it is a good small start and over the last 3 years I have saved just over $3k but every little bit helps. :)

I'm the worst for saving money, but it wasnt always that way. After labour of love the massive change to budget and saving will happen, and less clubbing (hopefully!) will also be happening, then help with the money.

Yeah especially when you pay $20 for parking then another $15-20 to get in add $5 for water + gas = one broke black man:(

I'm gonna be living off food stamps soon lol

park on the street :D save $20 or take transit, or carpool and split the parking

setting a budget for going out has saved my ass for the longest time. and dont add any extra to it. if you plan on spending $50, dont spend a penny more

i always bring my debit card with me tho, you never know what might happen. last year i couldnt get to my car and had no cash, had to take a cab

budgeting for any outing always helps. if you're smoking, you're wasting away $9 a pack. junk food, snacks, eating out, it all adds up

yeah, I'm facing a bit of Money Problems this year. I'm entering 3rd year and after this school year I estimate my total debt to between 5000 and 7000$.

That's not TOO bad for 3 years of university, especially in comparison to some of my friends, but still, debt weighs heavy on my conscience and I try to reduce / get rid of it whenever I can. Knowing I have debt cramps my party spirit. I hate spending money on partying when I have debt.:whip:

5,000-7,000$ IS NOTHING for school debt, TRUST ME.

If that's all you have, you have it MADE IN THE SHADE beyond BELIEF!

5,000$ is a kick in the bucket, I wish I had such little debt. Don't ing get down on yourself if you ing have only 7,000$ worth of debt after university -- you should ing thank the universe for your good fortune! ;)
