| the only reason why ours is so expensive is tax. When we were paying about £0.79 a litre, £0.65 of that is pure tax that goes straight to the government. If they wernt so greedy, we'd pay about the same as everyone else. |

yea, went up 0.20-0.25 overnight
i had the tip off since i sorta kinda work in the industry, so i filled up the night before
which by the way, that probably isn't the worst of it, i hear wholesale gas is selling for $3.12 a gallon now... so if that's the wholesale price, do the math on that one. i'm expecting $3.29 in a week. god damn, time to buy a motorcycle for sure. |

here's a gas station south of atlanta. they aren't charging this much anymore. folks are flipping out all over atlanta. thankfully i filled up sunday before the storm hit and i'm not driving around too much. but the line here are fixed but limited amounts. i knew this was going to happen. but oh well
and btw: if some of you would pay attention to what car analyst say most cars on our roadways don't really have to use 87 or higher in your car. esstential using 87 or higher in your car can be horrible for your engine. i have seen numerous reports about this and have read a few articles as well. i would google that information and make sure what car analyst say for your vehicle. what's the use in putting in more expensive gas if you don't really need it. don't trust what they put on your car, they just want you to spend more money.

sheeesh leann that's insane!!! oh and thanks for those reports because my car's fuel door says "premium unleaded only" and I hate that. :mad: grrr |

dont mean to burst your bubble but if a consumer puts in the better gas its just that much more likely that the car will run smoother..
in all reality they are all the same.... its psychologically making you happier thinking you are doign yoru car a better service... |
