Its time for a Hydrogen Car.. I need a Prius, I dont care how ugly or whatnot.. that thing will have me smiling with the 40-60+ miles per gallon it will do with this high jacked prices.
There's many reasons for the rise of prices, I know all of which you mentioned Arnold.. but I will tell you that you are wrong with China. YES, there was a rise because of China's demand, but China's growth has recessed and the demand for oil has shrunk, the same with the rest of the world. It's here in the US where the problem is.. all the storms, Heat Waves, and the techincal difficulties that happened a couple of weeks ago on 15 important refinaries of the nation.. all this had a big ass effect. Now is the oil pumps in the gulf that went shut down, and the dumbasses that bring the price up in the NYStoch Exchange for whatever word or image they see needed to raise the price. Thats not the point for this thread.. the point is that I hate the price.. and it will really hurt my pockets. |

| 2 major oil companies raised prices with no reason which is called gouging and the US state attorney has filed complaints/lawsuits i forgot whatever its called to demand why the 2 companies raised it with no reason at all since nothing has changed. they said that the hurricane should not have raised how high the gas is now because the the amount of oil that is produced has not changed. |

I think there are various threads regarding that issue in whish I contributed.. just like any 9-11, or the 1000+ ppl dead in Iraq. Yet, Gas is another issue that affects directly to everything there is on this world.. hence its direct effect on almost 40% on my current income, alongside other stuff that has been going up here in Florida ( next my car insurance, alongside my international students fee which is another thing I bitch about ).. hehe.. I think the price has gone up enough for everybody to bitch regardless of everything else going around.. :(. Yes WE are lucky, theres no doubt in that..
PS: I allready donated money into the red cross.. thats all I can actually do for them for now. |

no one said no one is helping these people. but you go from "we're bitching about the gas price" to "we arent helping anyone in new orleans" .... we have every right to bitch about the gas price because something needs to be done about it. the mayor new orleans just requested an emergency SOS and bush is waiting till friday to go and see all the chaos. bush said "relief" is on the way. who knows how long that is going to take..... but they already have bus loads of people going to austin texas where they have setup camp grounds for 25,000 people from new orleans.
now excuse me while i go fill my moms van with these bull gas prices. |

| also the gas issue affects school public transportation where they want kids to walk longer distances to be more of a group to take less trips and cops now have 2 people per car instead of one. |
