The price you're looking at is the price of an oil contract that expires in late september. You never look at the 'current' price so to speak.. unless the date of expiry is near your current date.. and even then...
edit: but yea.. i still have no idea how they price gas at the pumps |

FULL WARNING FOR EVERYONE....
gas is going up tonight anywhere between $1.65 to $1.80 so if you need gas.. better fill up tonight!!
a station here in Kitchener is already at $1.65 and in Windsor (my dad is there now) apparently people are lined up all over the place to get gas.. |

| what the ? thats rediculous, a $0.50 increase overnite? in oil companies and not making sense to me. i actually need gas too. i have to wait til the morning though to get it...thanks for the warning, but i'm hoping you're wrong (at least in hamilton) |

don't count on it... like I said.. one station here in Kitchener is already $1.65... so hopefully they are still low tomorrow for your sake :( |
