All I have to say is that Markus is my favorite live dj after PVD.
This guy is so freaking rocking.
Even my wife danced the whole time with me.
I left after Markus, so I cannot comment on John, but from the syle John was opening with, I was comfortable leaving.
Good to see everyone.
Candy Girl - I don't know if you could hear me, but I am the guy who waved and said hello during Markus' set.
PS - they were filming, but the videographer kept filming my wife. It was interesting. |

lol ouch, interesting indeed.
markus is awesome. great tracks, caught a piece of his set then swung around to the house room and danced my ass off to charles feelgood.
then caught the last hour of mr joof... wow...
if its one person who knows how to keep the nrg level at a max, joof is the man. what a sick set! im so effin tired :wtf: |

that was sick. my ears are still ringing. i got there around 1230 for the last part of markus' set, and it was some banging trance, a very nice leadup into JOOF, aka the sickest mother****** in town. seriously, so bangin. i'm so glad i finally got to see him live.
raoul, thank you sooooooooo much for getting me on your list, and michelle thanks for putting my lame-ass friends on your list. it was great to see you guys earlier in the night @ blowfish, what a small world!
i met some TA's last night called bluesurface, who sometimes post here, so i kicked it w/ them for the latter half of the night. such a great night

After the longest week in history Saturday Finally got here! Even though I saw Markus last weekend in SD I was so excited that he was returning "home" to Spundae.
My first stop of night was at the Armin in store. I got there a little bit late since it took me a little bit longer to get ready then I tought. But when I got there there where only a handful of people. I figured everyone was at NW. Good for me since there was room. Armin Played for 40 mints... all most 1/2 the length of his set at NW. After his set he signed posters, records CD's and took pictures with Fans. But he looked so tired! Poor Guy, just flew in From Ansterdam the night before and was really jet lagged.
After the instore it was grub time then off to Spundae.
I got to Spundae arond 10- 10:30. Once I got there I ran into so many people I knew. Hugs and smiles everywhere! The vibe was amazing. All though I ran into people I knew I was worried that the dance floor was pretty empty. I looked at my phone and the time was 11pm.
I walked around for a bit and at 11:30 it was time to go get my spot on the dance floor. By this time I was super duper excited and had to find my spot.
Markus came on at 12 and right away threw down an amazing beutiful track, I looked behind me and the dance floor was Packed! :D Markus threw down such amazing set last night! I was in my zone Smiling from ear to ear, dancing my ass off! I was not the only one in the zone. Everyone around me had the same smile too! :D Even Markus had the same smile :D So much energy!
Last night set was better then the one in SD. Every track was so beatiful. I reconized a lot of them ( I am not good with ID's) Air for Life, A remix of Find, with out you near, Open your eyes where my highlights. I want to know the name of the last track Markus closed with :eyes: WOW!!! At 2 JooF took over and kept the energy way up! However I could have listend to Markus play untill 4am with no problems.
After last night I hope some of you can understand why I follow Markus around the West Cost. Everytime I see him he is that good and the music is always that amazing!
I can not wait untill LP now!
I had such a great time last night!!! So many TA's where out as well. I even met some new people! :D YAY!! Sorry I did not talk much I was so into the music. hehe

!!! I am now a Markus fan. Beautiful tracks, tons of energy, the place was going off. I was worried that there wasn't going to be much turnout with the holiday weekend and NW. Having never seen him in person, I was expecting (worried) that his set was going to be very mellow but that wasn't the case. I wish he would have spun till 4am. I loved watching him work. Such a genuine smile all night, it was infectious.
The joof set kinda killed my buzz. Just not my style. A full on aggressive attack. The man is amazing though so MUCH respect.

Oh, I have not been to Circus since they did the remodel.
It was quite a shock how much space there is now! It really has a nice layout.
I wonder when they are going to move the dj booth. |

| Was an absolutely fantastic night. Markus was awesome and JOOF blew the roof off of Spundae. It was my first time seeing JOOF and I got to say it was probably one of the best dj sets I've ever seen. |

| Man, it's too bad you left after Markus, because as much as I love his music, J00F stole the show. It was obvious by the crowd movement who played the better set. J00F's was so energetic, intense, and fluid... by far the best set I've heard all year. While Markus has his good sets and his bad sets, J00F's performances have NEVER disappointed me. In fact I'm off again to catch his 4-hour set at Ten15 tonight :D |
