I can't live without music
I don't pigeonhole myself to just 1 genre because that's & close-minded, I just occupy myself with the following
trance, hardtrance, techtrance, techno, psy, goa, ambient, rock, heavy metal, hardcore, jungle/D&B & the odd house or breaks tune. It's much more fun liking songs based on what they sound like than what genre some genrenazi wants to put them into |

OMFG YES!!! I listen to what i like the sound of regardless of genre. I find it really sad when i hear people talking about how they only listen to one genre, then slate people like me, implying that im not as much a fan of trance just becuase i like Rachmaninov. Genre labels are there to help us talk about music and organise it cos there's so much of it. They're not there so as we can say that a person isn't a true trance fan just cos they listen to breaks or whatever. Hundreds of years of beautiful music and these people are going to cut out everything else except this one little niche. Sure, it's normal to have a faivourite genre, but it's so sad that people restrict themselves like this. |

I think it's something what comes to many in time, as they mature, not in the sense of being able to hear, but as people. Maybe it's my old self talking cod, but there seems to be so much hate too between people who only listen to 1 genre & defend it to the death, regardless of how much of a point the other person may be making. |

i'll listen to any edm as long as there is a great vibe to it then it's fine.
BUT.. I gotta admit.. NOTHING makes me feel the way trance does . Doesn't mean I won't dance to the other shiet :tongue2 |

| i can't live without it. right now i'm at my campus right before class and i'm over here. But I listen to all edm(happy hardcore anyone?:stongue: ) Man it's like an addiction or something wtf????Can someone help me? ahhaha But I don't listen to anything other than edm anymore. when I hear reggaeton or rap or hip-hop my face cringes abnormally!!! I wish my friends understood me because I only have one friend who complies with me:) I need to make friends with all you Miami ppl on here :( Right now i'm jamming to Heaven's Gate................in my head! |
