Good idea, ********. That should save a lot of time when downloading/uploading.

Lets wait to see what mr2gti thinks about it. He would have the master log.

would it not be easier just to keep one master log of the mix.

take a sectional of the last outro etc.. and ammend to there. then add the new section to the master log?

For listening sure you can d/l it, I don't see the logic of passing around an entire file to and from when only from seems required, for the full file (if even).

It would make sense that the person mastering (if so) keeps the master log.

Now this sounds a bit of Jibberish to me :conf:

and me. I like the original way as I understand how to do that
Sand Leaper
What he means is to just pass along the outro of the previous track and mix from there instead of the whole mix to save time and bandwidth. However, just going with the end of the previous track will sound very disjointed, not to mention that you do not get any sort of vibe and feel from the entire mix itself. Bad idea.

Well how about a choice, if the FTP has the room host the full mix and also the complete last song that person mixed with the pitch info.

1) You can get a feel for how the mix is progressing...

2) With the complete last track and pitch info if u want, so its easer to drop your mix back into the set.
mr2gti
Ok, it worked fine for CD1, so we'll keep that route.

But I know what you mean, but there is an issue of not getting a feel of the whole experiance up to your addition.
