I agree! Greenpeace just likes to whine a lot, trying to blame everything for damaging evironment. Yes some of its members for sure do things that are against the group's own policies. I read about that, a bunch of bull.
Similar to the organization for ethical treatment of animals. Bull of bull. While many of its members regularly use medicines derived from animal testing, they want to ban animal testing ... not to mention they set fires to medical labs, send death threats to some people, encourage USE OF VIOLENT FORCE to achieve their goals. They think animals are better than humans, anyway, and ACTIVELY say that! Meaning they like and support animals more than the people who support their own organization! Not even talking about the mysterious bank accounts and big amounts of money that that group earns as a "non-profit organization". BULL!!! You should see their main building, its cost is at least several million dollars!!!

There are alot of other important products made out of vinyl other than records, surely way too many to sacrifice it in the name of protecting the environment.
We are entrenched in our own technology to a point that even if sacrificing it would save us from problems caused by a damaged environment, we would still not be able to do it. Our entrenched technology owns us moreso than we own it. The only way for vinyl to die is if it became rediculously expensive or inconvenient. |

| I saw an american broadcast of a guy who makes his living making bowls out of old vinyls. He was eating cereal out of the beetles white album. He covered the vinyl in some kinda acrylic type , heated it, and pressed the label down thus forming a bowl. Just an example how it could be reused and recycled. |
