boris is decent. I bought that for a while a year or so ago. Lowenbrau is also not to shabby ;)

I love the LCBO for the selection of foreign stuff. (of course it could be better ;) )

Keith's is my beer of choice, but Stella is nice too

And as someone already mentioned, a nice cold Corona can really hit the spot in the summer

If you like wheat beers, there's one brewed just outside of montreal called 'blanche de chamblis', same great wheat beer flavour without the aftertaste. The only place I've been able to find it was on one of the McMaster Campus bars called 'the pheonix', but if you can track it down, this beer champ highly recommends it.

Actually, it's "Blanche De Chambly". Fantastic beer if you're into that style (which I am). You can find it on tap at "The Embassy" down in Kensington Market. It's a small little bar, with a whole bunch of local micro brewery beers on tap. The bar's on Augusta Ave, although it's probably not the easiest bar to spot. But just keep your eyes open, and you'll see it. "The Embassy" is opposite "Hungary Thai" restaurant.

Another good local brew is McAuslen apricot wheat ale. Really slight apricot taste, with a smooth beer finish. So for those of you that like those cherry beers, perhaps give this one a go. Again, I think you can find this on tap at "The Embassy", as well as "Local 4" which is on Dundonald Street, just near Wellesly subway.

I'm surprised not more people go for the micro brew stuff? There's nothing wrong with the standard stuff when you're out partying or whatever, but if you're just having a few quiet ones to relax/chat/whatever, then I'd definitely be hitting up the more specialized beers.
