Actually, it's "Blanche De Chambly". Fantastic beer if you're into that style (which I am). You can find it on tap at "The Embassy" down in Kensington Market. It's a small little bar, with a whole bunch of local micro brewery beers on tap. The bar's on Augusta Ave, although it's probably not the easiest bar to spot. But just keep your eyes open, and you'll see it. "The Embassy" is opposite "Hungary Thai" restaurant.

Another good local brew is McAuslen apricot wheat ale. Really slight apricot taste, with a smooth beer finish. So for those of you that like those cherry beers, perhaps give this one a go. Again, I think you can find this on tap at "The Embassy", as well as "Local 4" which is on Dundonald Street, just near Wellesly subway.

I'm surprised not more people go for the micro brew stuff? There's nothing wrong with the standard stuff when you're out partying or whatever, but if you're just having a few quiet ones to relax/chat/whatever, then I'd definitely be hitting up the more specialized beers.

You are the only person outside of McMaster University I've ever talked to that has tried that beer. Like Hoegaarden, but withgout the aftertaste. And yeah, I'm big on the microbrewery stuff, I'm always out looking for unique beers with something different to offer with their tastes.

Haha.
Well, you can blame it on me having lived at a hostel that's down the road from Embassy for two weeks. That and the owner of the hostel has a part share in Embassy as well :P
Although that doesn't really affect the fact that we went to Embassy anyway. It was more a matter of closeness to the hostel than anything else.

Recommend me some more micro brew stuff :)

I like my Polish beers.. Zywiec (I am enjoying one right now), Tyskie, or Lech (unfortunately, not in Canada yet)

and if I can't have those, Stella Artois or Grolsch will do just fine :D

Holsten and Boddington are great when you're just drinking. With food I'll sometimes go for the Dab or Pillsner Urquel. At bars, they usually don't have those, so I ask for a Corona. If I'm at a crappy bar where they don't have ANY good beer then I will attempt, in descending order: Stella, Keith's, Rickard's Red, Export. I refuse to drink Canadian or any of the other really cheap beer - I'd rather mix coke with some rubbing alcohol and drink that.

Here is a beer connoisseur!!!
I see u know ur beer!!!! Thumbs up!

I love beer and its pretty much the only alcohol I can drink so I also choose wisely when it comes to my beer selection
it depends on occasion but Stella is the sure one!. I love my Polish beer- Tyskie, Zywiec, Okocim--ummmm- beer is good-- well most polish beers are good!!! Pilsner, DAB, Stigel, and Hoegarden- my personal favorite for a long time!!

Oh that...
No one in Australia drinks that ... It tastes pretty bad back home in Oz. Over here it's a bit more drinkable, but I still wouldn't go near it unless it was free.
