Armand van Helden last night at Spirit?!?!!?

| wow... i didnt go, was supposed to but didnt, went to Avalon.... a bunch of people i know went, and said at 5:30, Armand just got up mid-song and left. the song finished. for 20 minutes, every1 was booing and yelling "put some ing music ". ne1 know the deal? |

| yeah, but how is some1 like AvH gunna do that in in New York City, the city that made him? its like Tiesto in over a Dutch crowd or Paul van Dyk bitching out in Berlin, its just not what u do if youre a DJ, even if something was wrong with the money situation or dodgy promoters. |

| yeah, unless there was some sort of dire emergency, that just shows so much disrespect to your fans etc... to just get up and leave like that....these people came out to see him and paid to be there to see him. If I went and he just took off in the middle of a song, I'd be pretty upset about it. |

| AvH is "famous" for these kinds of exits. Sorry to hear that he pulled this kind of stuff again last night, in NYC no less. (I had heard of him doing this plenty of times before when spinning in Europe.) |

with an act like Danny Howells the night before, who is WITH and FOR the fans, AvH is now on my list for having done something like this... i wont go see him next time he comes, wen theres so much more deserving talent coming to NYC, why would ne1 waste their time and moeny next time? |

that's just ed up IMO, people become DJ's because they love to play, so even if he did get ed over i wouldn't just get up and leave, worst case scenario i would cut my set short and apologize to the crowd, but not leave the club like an . + it's not like he's that big and popular anyway, so  |
