| nah, it's not wierd at all, I like going out alone and meeting new people. now I have partied all alone, one time I dropped a couple of rolls and it was close to christmas so in my brilliance I wrapped a bunch of christmas lights around myself and plugged them in and just stood in the middle of the house withthe lights off and some trance blasting away, when my wife walked in the house and had this utter look of amazement that I was that stupid. lol:wtf: |

Ive done it at Global Gathering 2005 ( id say alone coz i lost my mate an hour in and only met him at the coach 7am following morning )
Mannnn...it was amazing, the feeling of total freedom was amazing of who i could see when i want :D and raved my socks off when i saw them.. wouldnt mind doing it agian!!! :D |

None of my mates like trance, so i always go clubbing by myself. After 5 years of loving trance and sadly wondering why none of my mates did, here's what I thought of to convince myself:
* If I'm not having a good time I can just go home. No big deal.
* When I'm crammed in a dark smokey club, half the people are also alone as they've lost their mates. The other half are too high to even notice.
* The music matters more than what people are thinking of me.
* Freedom! Nobody dragging me off the dance floor when the DJ drops my fave tune.
* The only alternative going alone is to sit at home feeling sorry for myself.
It took real guts the first time, but today I can't believe how long I spent sitting at home just cos I cared that much what people were thinking of me. These days I can easily say it's better going on your own than with mates. Like somebody else, I ended up travelling all the way to global gathering by myself and had the best time ever!
So to answer your question: I don't think it's wierd, but even if it was I wouldn't care as the music is more important. Just go. Life is for living.;) |

its crazy how fascinated u can be by things when ur rollin...
for ex. - i was rollin one time, and i was walkin through my friends back yard and he had this bush that was very colorful...i was like "dude, this has got to be the greatest bush ever....i need one of these in my yard...i'll buy it off you"

ive never been to a club/event without being with mates... but ive found myself taking 'disco biscuits' and talking to just about everyone else in the place :D |

Tbh i'd never go out by myself unless it was some music act which i REALLY REALLY ing enjoyed but still i'd think twice. But then again i'm the kind of guy who finds it hard to make friends out of the blue, if you're the opposite i guess it'd be a good idea.
Now, going alone to some place where you're sure you'll end up meeting people you already know, that isn't odd at all. |
