What a weekend it has been. So many parties, so many stars.
....Went to the opening day party at the Liberty Grand, didn't get to see anyone, but I was told that Cameron Diaz, Tommy Chong, and Chris Martin were in attendance.
Friday, saw Charlize Theron in the Alliance Atlantis Balconey at the Mrs. Henderson screening at Roy Thompson Hall. Bob Hoskins was there too, but I didn't see him.
Saturday, got to see Anthony Hopkins at the Worlds Fastest Indian screening. One of the guys at work has the job of driving the stars from their hotels to the press conferences and he said Anthony Hopkins is a really cool and laid back character.
....Later that evening, went to the Worlds Fastest Indian party at Caban and then off to the History of Violence party at The Brant house. Saw Charlize Theron again, I gotta say, she's really pretty in person....And looked to be about 6 feet tall....Saw William Hurt and David Cronenberg there as well. Apparently Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris were in attendance as well but I didn't get to see them.
Today, off to the Proof screening at Roy Thompson Hall, and then to the Proof party at Hugo Boss in Yorkville.....Maybe I'll see Gwyneth Paltrow and Jake Gyllenhaal.
I don't know how much more open bar my liver can stand to take, but during a week where I'm almost flat broke it couldn't have come at a better time. |

Last night, saw Kirsten Dunst, Orlando Bloom, Viggo, Ed Harris etc yesterday. As well as Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron, Kurt Russel and Dakota Fanning.

Also saw Guy Ritchie. Not workin tonight at RTH so ill prob miss Gwyneth and Jake. Cameron Diaz will be Wednesday, and closing night apparently is Morgan Freeman and Justin Timberlake.
I could go for some open bar :| |

| Im a bartender there, but for film fest we also do switch around and do popcorn stations. On thursday I'll be working the North Martine bar, so if you walk in, its the bar to your right, by the elevator. Its almost directly infront of the door, and right along the red carpet where the stars walk. Come say hi, Ill be sure to hook you up with a drink or 2 or 3 ;) |

We saw Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr. the other night, and then Elle Macphereson(spelling?)and Anthony Hopkins on Saturday.
All of them were at the ryerson theatre right across from my appartment. |

I dunno if I'll be able to tear myself away from my duties, my work has me on a pretty short leash these days, but I'll definitely try to come by. |

I saw Anthony Hopkins, who delviered a little speech before for the film, but I didn't see Elle Mcpherson or Robert Downey Jr. |

last night @ Mary's screening, Abel Ferrara and Matthew Modine did the best Q&A i've ever seen: wearing jeans, sitting on the stage stairs, acoustic (no mic), so down to earth and cool, the crowd were laughing all the time.
unfortunately Juliette Binoche did not attend.
got to chat and smoke with Abel outside the theater as well, which IMHO is 100 times better than star gazing.
saw Bryce Dallas Howard as well, very cool cat.
Chan-wook Park is the next one on my list, if i get a chance to meet him, my job would be done this year.
this year it's been a pretty good productive festival so far. :) |

Robert Downey and Val Kilmer were there a few nights before.
Elle was there that night, we just saw her come out the back door of the theatre. |

...FAK!! I WAS @ the LIberty Grand too. :eek: I got trashed with that OPEN BAR!!:eyespop: :crazy: :tongue2 I saw all of the above.. but I was more interested in finding out how to get a gig spinning at one of those partays!!. The booth was at the very top ..on the balcony over looking the entire crowd. Great night... what I remember.:happy2:

| watched revolver today. guy ritchie was pretty funny during the q&a. for fans of lock, stock & snatch, this is better than both. |
